A chance to develop your resume and portfolio, the Brownthought Academy internship is perfect for current college students, recent graduates, and professionals looking to make a career switch. Though much of our work focuses on San Francisco’s SoMa District and the general Bay Area Filipino community, this internship will be conducted remotely,

In general, applicants do not need to be local or commute to an office, but, therefore, must be highly motivated, computer-savvy, and self-disciplined, with reliable internet access, to succeed in the program. However, those applying for the Social Media or Video roles will be required to come in-person to shoot content.

BROWNTHOUGHT ACADEMY FOCUS AREAS

From email campaigns, social media strategy, paid advertising, event marketing, website design and maintenance, interns directly impact all Kultivate Labs programs: UNDISCOVERED SF, Kapwa Gardens, SEED Network, Balay Kreative, and Republika.

In turn, they gain key marketing skillsets as well as a knowledge of socially-conscious economic development, from San Francisco’s SoMa Pilipinas Filipino Cultural District and beyond.
